Revision as of 10:35, 28 August 2019

In this game, Stoofvlees was playing as white against Ethereal. White first sacrificed a pawn in the opening for activity. Then white made a long-term positional piece sacrifice, with the material deficit lasting most of the remaining game. White was able to constrain black and install an "octopus knight", dominating black's position. The octopus knight was then converted into a passed pawn, which finally won the game for white.
